Pharmacy nominations

To change your nominated pharmacy in the UK, you can follow these steps:

Using the NHS App or Website:

  • Log in to the NHS App or the NHS website.
  • Go to the homepage or “Your health” section.
    Select “View and manage prescriptions.”
  • If you already have a nominated pharmacy, you’ll see its name. To change it, select “Change your nominated pharmacy.”
  • Follow the instructions to nominate a new pharmacy.

Through Your GP:

  • You can also ask your GP practice to change your nominated pharmacy for you. They can update your records and ensure your prescriptions are sent to the new pharmacy.

Directly at the Pharmacy:

  • Visit the new pharmacy you want to nominate and ask them to update your nomination. They can do this electronically.

Remember, if you change your nominated pharmacy, any outstanding prescriptions you have requested may still be sent to your current nominated pharmacy.
