Prescriptions
REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS
The practice does not accept prescription requests over the telephone. Requests are normally made no more than 3 days before you would run out.
Requests are be made by hand or online.
Ordering in surgery
Please use repeat order form attached to your last prescription. Prescriptions will be available within 48 hours of being requested. If you do not have this please use one of the request forms that are in the foyay at the front entrance.
Ordering Online
Prescriptions can be ordered online through the NHS App or one of the other online services such as patient access.
If you are on a medication and it is not on the list in the app. Please include this in the text box just before you submit your request.
Queries
If you have submitted a request online you can track it though your online service. If you have not made the request online please contact your nominated pharmacy and then the practice. This could be done by phone, or use the PATCHS service.

Pharmacy nominations
To change your nominated pharmacy in the UK, you can follow these steps:
Using the NHS App or Website:
- Log in to the NHS App or the NHS website.
- Go to the homepage or “Your health” section.
Select “View and manage prescriptions.” - If you already have a nominated pharmacy, you’ll see its name. To change it, select “Change your nominated pharmacy.”
- Follow the instructions to nominate a new pharmacy.
Through Your GP:
- You can also ask your GP practice to change your nominated pharmacy for you. They can update your records and ensure your prescriptions are sent to the new pharmacy.
Directly at the Pharmacy:
- Visit the new pharmacy you want to nominate and ask them to update your nomination. They can do this electronically.
Remember, if you change your nominated pharmacy, any outstanding prescriptions you have requested may still be sent to your current nominated pharmacy.
